Hi, my name is Catherine Osikoya. I am first generation immigrant originally from Nigeria. Currently, I am a fifth-year student studying Architecture at the University of Limerick. This project has enabled me to really understand the extent of the racism issue in Ireland. It has also influenced my thinking for my Thesis.

Alison Byrne

Videographer

Alison Byrne is a freelance videographer, social media manager and Editor located in Carlow Ireland. Alison graduated with a First-Class Honours BA from IT Tralee in 2019 studying TV, Radio and New Media Broadcasting. Before editing our documentary, Alison directed and produced a documentary called “Jill and Giles” that has been selected and screened into national and international film festivals.

Sandrine Ndahiro

Founder

Hi, my name is Sandrine Uwase Ndahiro. I am originally from Rwanda and moved to Ireland in 2006. Currently, I am a first- year PhD student in Contemporary African Literature at the University of Limerick.  Working on this project has provided me the opportunity to incorporate my research interests and cultural background to highlight black lived experiences in Ireland.

Anthony Carey

Design Creative

Hi, my name is Anthony Carey. I am a Product Design & Technology student. I also work in website and App development, with a particular passion and focus for graphics, audio and video/film. It is a great opportunity to be part of this very powerful project to assist in how individuals stories are illustrated and represented on this website.
