Nasc, the Irish word for ‘link’, empowers migrants to realise and fulfil their rights. Nasc works with migrants and refugees to advocate and lead for change within Ireland’s immigration and protection systems, to ensure fairness, access to justice and the protection of human rights. Our goal is to realise the rights of all migrants and refugees within Irish society.
In the last two decades, Ireland has seen a considerable change in population, and it has become an intercultural and diverse nation. RIAINetwork aims to support young people and their families of African descent and their families.
Wezesha’s approach to its work is influenced by its aims of empowerment, solidarity and capacity building. These aims are reflected in a sustainable development focus that works to support the independence of African women through investment in small business enterprises, providing access to the necessary medical, legal and economic resources and developing skills-based training programmes.
Irish Network Against Racism (INAR) is a membership organisation. Our strength is in our Members, a growing, national Network of diverse Civil Society Organisations committed to combating racism and all related forms of discrimination in every sphere of life in Ireland. We are dedicated to finding common strategies and policy positions for combating racism, finding ways of complementing each other’s work, and to offering cross-community and cross-sectoral support and solidarity.
At the Immigrant Council of Ireland, an Independent Law Centre, we have been working to provide assistance to people from a migrant background, improving and protecting their rights since our establishment in 2001.
